Buffet Luxe is Hotel Catedral's breakfast buffet, served every day from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. It mixes traditional Mexican breakfast with international favorites: eggs cooked to order, quesadillas, handmade corn tortillas, waffles, fruit, bread and unlimited coffee. The dining room overlooks the Temple of Ehécatl-Quetzalcóatl, the 500-year-old ruin beneath the hotel, so breakfast comes with a view few hotels in the world can offer. If you book directly, choose a rate with breakfast included and the buffet is covered from your first morning. It is an easy start before walking to the Zócalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Templo Mayor, all a few minutes away.
